Exceedingly rare art deco lamp manufactured around 1930 in France and attributed to Dupre Lafont.

The lamps unusual design sports a hexagonal stem flanked on 3 sides with a copper rod topped with a ball.
A copper ring enclose the stem t the top and bottom. The mushroom shade is held by 2 arms while the bulb fitting is hidden by tulip shaped casing.

These lamps are highly sought (and therefore extremely rare) given the sculptural (and cubist inspired) side of their design which is attributed to Dupre Lafon.
