Extremely rare, very large modernist brass lamp manufactured in France around 1930 by Costebelle.
Its main feature is the large etched glass panorama landscape featuring a shepherd with his dog and sheeps resting under a a couple of trees, a village can be seen in the background. It is flanked by 2 skyscraper designed frames.
2 Lamps are sets in tower like encasement at the back, their cap can be rotated to adjust the angle of lighting either toward the back or against the glass plate. This lamp emits a very nice warm glow once lit and given it s very classical shape looks wonderful in any modern setting.
